Welcome to Below the 49th – My personal pulse of The United States of America.

In this video I wanted to share my “Why” of this video series.

As a Canadian born raised in Toronto, I grew up surrounded by american media. One of my first memories was as a 3 1/2 year old in my grandparents basement watching television. There, in a very somber broadcast was the funeral of John F Kennedy. I remember a Stars and Stripes flag draped over the casket on a wagon being pulled by a rider-less horse with boots pointed backwards in the stirrups. My powerful interest into all things American had begun.

My goal is to earn your respect by representing an overview and my observations and predictions to continue our conversation from my view of my neighbours Below the 49th.

I want to dip my toe into the discussion with you, to listen, to learn and share.
